Texas Music Fest FAQ's

Ticket Questions

Where & how do I purchase tickets?

Right here on the FDFA website! Click on the "Event Tickets" at the top of of the website from any page, or the "Buy Here" from the Texas Music Fest page.
Pre-sale General Admission are $10.00 and VIP Tickets are $125.00. General Admission tickets will be available at the Gate for $15.00

What is the difference between General Admission and VIP tickets?

General Admission tickets simply get you in the gate to the Texas Music Festival. You are responsible for your own seating during the show.
VIP Tickets give you access to the VIP tent and all its amenities.
Purchase early for best pricing!

What's in the VIP Tent and how much does it cost?

VIP Tents will have prime viewing area of the stage in a Texas elegance with its own restrooms / comfort stations, complimentary beer and wine (4 max per person), passed appetizers, dining stations with great Texas cuisine provided by Brasserie 1895 restaurant! Price for ticket is $125.00.

Only 200 will be available for purchase!

Can I purchase VIP Tickets at the event?

Yes, but only if space is available, for $150.00. There are only 200 Tickets available.

What can I bring?

Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket?

Heck Yes! There is no seating included with your General Admission ticket and guests are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit. However, no tents, large umbrellas, or canopies are allowed.

Can I bring a scooter/wheelchair/golf cart?

Motorized scooters and wheelchairs for disabled patrons are allowed; personal golf carts are not allowed.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No, there will be a variety of food and drinks available for purchase from the food trucks and other vendors.

Can I bring a stroller or wagon for my kids?

Yes, strollers or small wagons are allowed.

Are cameras allowed?

Yes, but only for personal use are allowed. Your camera bags will be checked by gate security upon entry. Performances and performers’ acts are copyrighted, and your photography or video cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are NOT allowed into the festival and should NOT be left in vehicles. Because of the festival setting with food and drink vendors, Galveston County prohibits animals, other than legally allowed guide and assistance animals.

Do vendors and concessions take credit cards?

That will be at the discretion of each vendor. There will be an ATM on site.

Performance and Vendor Questions

Can you give me a schedule of acts?

A schedule will be posted here and on the FDFA website one week prior to the festival.

What happens if it rains?

This is a RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. Unless the weather is severe, we will proceed with much of the performances as possible. In the event that the festival in cancelled, your $10 ticket price will be considered a donation to the Friends of Downtown Friendswood Association.

What kind of music will be played?

The festival will have a great line-up of some of the best country music in Texas!

How many vendors and what kind of merchandise will be sold?

We will have approximately 35 vendors selling a wide variety of great products and merchandise!

Parking Questions

Where do I park?

Parking will be available at the New Hope Church and Methodist Church directly across from the festival site. Please follow parking signage and the directions of Friendswood Police Department. A big Texas Thank You to New Hope and Methodist Church for making the parking available!

How much is it to park?

Parking fees (if any) will be at the discretion of New Hope Church and the Methodist Church.

I bought a VIP Ticket, where do I park?

There will be designated VIP Parking located at New Hope Church...please be prepared to show your VIP Ticket for access.
