COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM

Community Education Program

Find out about the Friends of Downtown Friendswood Association, what we do, and how we plan to "Cultivate a Homegrown Vibrancy for our Downtown Community"

FDFA VS FDEDC

In an effort to help educate the community on who (FDFA) the Friends of Downtown Friendswood Association are, we'll be creating tools to help introduce ourselves and explain how we use our Mission Statement (Cultivating A Homegrown Vibrancy For Our Downtown Community) to guide us along the way.

We thought we'd start with a topic that seems to be the biggest point of confusion, and rightfully so! There's a LOT of similar letters in these two, but we are actually very different. So, to kick off our Community Education Program, we've created this graphic to help clear up the differences between FDFA VS FDEDC.

What FDFA Needs

As a nonprofit, our goal has always been to create beautiful scenery and experiences in our downtown district, because we believe that #Friendswood deserves beautiful things. We've always said that you shouldn't have to leave Friendswood to get a great shopping or dining experience. Keeping our dollars at work in the community by investing in local business is vital!

After 7 years of exploring ideas and finding just the right fit for our organization, these are some simple guidelines that help to define how FDFA builds relationships for today, tomorrow, and the future.

What does FDFA do?
